Limits are the simplest way to keep play within a budget you are comfortable with. Before you start, you decide how much money you are willing to deposit and how much time you want to spend, and the platform keeps you within those boundaries automatically. Setting a limit is a sign of healthy play, and you can do it at any time from your account settings.
Limits apply to your account as a whole, regardless of which game you choose. They work quietly in the background so you can enjoy your play knowing your own boundaries are already in place.
2.Deposit limits
A deposit limit caps how much you can add to your balance over a chosen period — for example, per day, per week or per month. Once the limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. You choose the amount that suits your budget, and you can set different limits for different periods.
Lowering a deposit limit takes effect immediately, so you can tighten your boundaries at once. Raising a limit only takes effect after a cooling-off period, giving you time to be sure the change is right for you. For limit increases, the cooling-off period is 24 hours.
3.Time limits and reminders
Time limits let you decide how long you want to play within a session or over a period, helping you avoid losing track of time. You can also turn on reality-check reminders, which pause play at intervals you choose to show how long you have been playing and how your session is going.
When a time limit is reached, you are gently prompted to take a break. These reminders are designed to give you a clear moment to decide whether to continue or step away, rather than to interrupt your enjoyment.
4.How to set or change your limits
All limits are managed from your account, under your play-control settings. Setting a new limit takes only a moment: choose the type of limit, the period and the amount, then confirm. Your active limits are listed together so you can review them at a glance.
Decreases apply right away; increases follow the cooling-off rule described above. If you are unsure what to choose, a conservative limit you can comfortably afford is always a good starting point, and you can adjust it later as needed.
5.If you need more than a limit
Limits are a great everyday tool, but sometimes you may want to step back more fully. If that is the case, you can take a short break with our Breaks option or set a longer Self-Exclusion, both available from your account. Our support team can also help you put the right settings in place.
Free and confidential help is always available if play stops feeling fun. You will find support details and provincial resources on our Responsible gambling page.
